The citizens of Los Santos received a public announcement on Friday the 13th stating that the senate had "reason to believe" that there were going to be "targeted attacks" on Los Santos that evening.

At approximately 8PM GMT, a fire broke out in City Hall causing smoke to be seen from across Los Santos.

The Los Santos Police Department showed up quickly to block off the scene, while Los Santos Fire Department member and respected EMT, Asa Everett, fought the blaze, armed with only a hose.

Lieutenant Tony Battle also jumped into a fire truck to help, it took them approximately 30 minutes to tackle the fire.

There were no fatalities, however a civilian (who wants to stay anonymous) fell from a rooftop while trying to take a peek at the burning building.

It is suspected that the cause of the fire was from gasoline found at the entrance to the building.

Footprints were found by a ladder on the north side of the City Hall building and on the roof, as well as a ripped bit of fabric, suspected to be owned by the arsonist.

A suspect had been taken into custody after being found with traces of carbon monoxide on their hands and clothing, however they were later released as there was a lack of evidence.

If you have any information on this incident, please report it to the LSPD.

If you would like to become a firefighter to help tackle any future situations like this, please contact the Emergency Medical Services at the Pillbox Medical Center.
